What is the Mobile Improv Comedy Carnival? What will it be like?

The MICC is Mobile, Alabama’s first improv comedy festival. It will be two nights of improv comedy acts from around Mobile, the Gulf Coast and the entire country and one day of improv comedy workshops for everyone, from people just wanting to try out improv for the first time to seasoned professionals. We hope to showcase an array of different groups, formats and comedy styles, and provide a hilarious, fun couple of nights for everyone!

The Mobile Improv Comedy Carnival is taking place April 17 & 18, 2026. The shows will all take place in the Mobile Carnival Museum in downtown Mobile. The location(s) for the workshops have not yet been announced.

Tickets have not gone on sale yet, so at the moment, the only way to secure seats for yourself at the festival is to sponsor the festival at the Friend tier or better. This will ensure you have your tickets before the general ticket sales begin!

Once tickets are available to purchase, you can get them from the Tickets page. If you’d like to be the first to hear when tickets go on sale, subscribe to our mailing list on our Support page.

The official lineup has yet to be announced, but rest assured that there will be improv acts from Mobile, the Gulf Coast, the breadth of the United States, and possibly even internationally, giving audiences a unique chance to see improv acts they may never otherwise get a chance to see!
